ROMAN RULER SIZZLES

Postby louis finochio » Wed Jul 27, 2005 6:58 am

Roman Ruler worked 7 fur. in 1:24 and galloped out a mile in 1:36/4 at DM, in preparation for the Haskell August 7. RR work in bar shoes to protect his quarter crack.

For some reason I don't think this horse likes going two turns...He seems to throw his head when he sees that second turn. I hope he goes well though. But I personally think he is better at one turn.

RR loves the DM main track, in 05 in the DM Futurity RR lost by a head to Declans Moon. DM ran the Futurity distance of 7 fur. in the fastest time in history for the Futurity.

DM is working his way back and will be resurfacing soon, as we can find out where he will fit class wise in this 3yr. old division.

Louis, any chance of RR running in the King's Bishop? I thought I read that on DRF.com. That is at the 7F distance.

Than could happen as Baffert is undecided on RR schedule. I ask Baffert when I see him on Thursday.
