I would love to see Bellamy Road come back to his Wood Memorial form. I don't know if he's going to be fit enough. The field isn't really that deep though and if he could get loose on an easy lead, he could be tough.

I think Roman Ruler wins it, but Dont Get Mad worries me.

If BR is fit its over, as he has the class over the leftovers in his 3yr. old division.

I like Flower Alley but almost by default as I think Roman Ruler is the horse to beat but I cant play him going 10 furlongs even under todays projected pace. I never was sold on Bellamy Road so after surgery then Zito looking at the Kings Bishop. I have to question his fitness and I'm not sure he is a 10 furlong horse vs quality horses anyway. Too many questions for the fav but I guess we will see this afternoon.

Boy, was that group spread out! The three favorites finished ahead, as expected, with the get-no-respect Flower Alley getting the triumph. Bellamy Road will get them next time, since this was his first after a layoff, and he sure tried hard. It wasn't Roman Ruler's day, for whatever reason.

Roman Ruler may not be a true mile and 1/4 horse, but I wish Bailey had gone with Flower Alley rather than allowing them to open up at the 1/2 mile pole and then try to close on a dead stretch that no one has closed on all meet! If RR had tried to go with FA, we would know for sure wheter he can get 1 1/4 miles.
