Sarafan

Postby Swaps1955 » Sun Aug 28, 2005 8:24 pm

Saw Sarafan was pulled up on the Clubhouse turn and was vanned off the track today, being off in his right front. Anyone know anything more than that? Neil Drysdale trains him. He's such a gallant horse and been around so many years, he's like a fixture. Hope he is okay and will be able to live out the life he deserves.

Niel Drysdale has TB at SA and I will ask about the condition of Sarafan on Monday.

Sarafan was bumped by another TB then bobbled and Aeex Solis pulled him up as he thought Sarafan was injured.

Sarafan is not injured and is alive and well at this moment.

Thanks to Neil Drysdale foreman for this story of the same.

Louis,

Thanks again, soooo much! You will never know how much this means to me, to those who love our horse s/heroes and who far too often never get to find out what happens to them.

To Wendy: When you love your work like I do, it becomes a labor of love.

I have been blessed to have worked on the backside all these years and its time for me to share with other TB fans the info I receive from the key people in the industry.

If you have any more ? about the injured TB let me know and I'll do my best to report what happened to them.

Thanks for your interest in the greatest game in town, the world of TB racing. Yours in Sport Louis Finochio.
