First Race for Save

Postby Shergar » Sun Aug 28, 2005 9:33 pm

Louis;

Caught Saves race today. Acquited himself well.

He sure ran into a buzzsaw in the winning horse.

Certainly should improve on that decent first outing.

His final 1/8 time was a little slow. I didn't get a good look, but did David Flores urge him to the wire or let up a little when he had the show safely in hand, but no shot to catch the 2nd place horse??

How did Save come out of the race?

All the best to you, Shergar

DM last day is Sep. 7 and Darrell Vienna Saves trainer is going to ship back to SA in a few days time. I will post how Save came out of his race when I talk to Darrell.

The winner of the race Heavy Traffic is from a strong female family that has produced Shamardal and Street Cry. I was following HT when he made his 1st 3 starts but he was sore and would show speed and stop.

HT groom Juan finally brought back HT to normal and you saw what happened. Congrats to Bruce Headley and his groom Juan for a job well done.

Hey guys what did the second place horse look like to you? He's a grandson of Easy Goer. It was his second start, and I'd like to know about him.

Hi Nessa: Dixie Glow has a great pedigree and his 2nd. & 3rd dams are both quality producers. Follow him as he will break his maiden soon.
