Epsom Derby winner Motivator will not be going to the BC. He has been injured and will be retired for 2006.

hi Galileo1998

I was looking forward to seeing Motivator perform in the BC...unfortunate he's out and apparently retired (as you indicated).

Have specifics related to the injury been reported?

You know what this means, right?
Rabbit Shake the Bank will run in the Breeder's Cup Turf ( ).
And you know what? They enter that horse, he damn well better win this! Ticks me off to see a horse who "doesn't belong" running with the stars as a sacrificial lamb- I say, let the lamb have his day of triumph for once!

(Motivator, why, whyyyy did you have to go lame? Whyyyyyyy.....)

As the rising stars are falling from the sky, you can rest assured that they dont make these fragile TB like they used to.

When the outcross sire lines as Rock Sand--Peter Pan--Gainsborough--Chaucer--Domino--Prince Rose--Rabelais etc. failed to reproduce themselves the soundness of the breed is on a down hill slide.

As the TB of today are faster, they are also more fragile, as they need an outcross to bring back their soundness.

If the great breeders of the past were alive today, to see what has happened to the breed today, they would be devastated.
Those without sin cast the first stone.
