The only way Afleet Alex will ever make it back to the races is if he learns how to drive a car. He's done.

Does the NASCAR circuit stop in Oregon?

I can't even begin to express how many things are wrong in that sentence.

Ummm... Afleet Alex racing at Prairie Meadows?? Sort of like Mario Andretti going to Arcadia, FL to drive in the dirt track auto race that goes along with the annual rodeo, swamp buggy races and tractor pull?

Agree with all of the above (LOL about the tractor pull)

Can I ask a quick favor? Can the title please be changed to have a "?" instead of a ".!" It drives me nuts, for one, and second people might think there's actually a change in the 'not racing again til 2006' information which there's not.

Not to be facetious...but whatever the name is...it ain't Belmont or Saratoga, or Gulfstream or Keeneland or Churchhill or...or...or :? It's where? Nevermind...I think the point was missed.

And the fact that you chose that as your track of choice indicates that you live in the "plausible state of Oregon".

And that may well be a reference you're too young to get

At any rate, Portland Meadows... Prairie Meadows... they're pretty much the same thing/same racing level ... and WELL below Alex's. Beyond that, he has NO ties whatsoever to Portland Meadows so you can't even expect them to pull a stunt like Aello did with Lost In The Fog (by running his final BC prep at Bay Meadows).

The closest Alex EVER gets to Oregon will be the flyby on his way to stud in Japan (which is where he's going if they can't close a money deal here).

As for the "starter race" (which to most on this forum means "Starters Allowance")... um, I find it hard to respond to that without being REALLY condescending.

Instead, do us a favour and spend a little more time learning about the ways of the industry... I figure in about 9 more years you should have figured out why you've received the responses (to ALL of your posts) that you have.

Very cranky ... 3 hours sleep in the last 48 don't improve things.

Really boned it on that guy's name ... at least I got the horse's name right. That's the important thing ;)

It's called "speculation."

And you don't put periods in front of question marks/exclamation points.

And yet you're OK with the spelling of "where" and "does" in that post...

8) No, that would have just required a bigger torch because I would have to touch everything in the thread.

Besides, I think I goofed the spelling of something, too.
