trainer needed

Postby TBLADY » Tue Dec 27, 2005 1:34 pm

As we look forward to our filly coming two and finishing up her breaking training (complete with. a few breezes, gate card and run in company lightly) We are starting our search for a trainer. Since shes a home bred taking part in any state bred progam is not what we are concerned about. (shes an Ohio bred but not Accredited) Day rate needs to be affordable but I understand what rates run. Would love to find someone at Turfway if possible. Potential trainer needs to be able to place the horses needs first and be able to call me when something goes wrong and not just BS there way into a day rate.

I dont think my filly is a Stakes horse (though it would be nice) but I do believe she is at least Allowance quality. I really dont need a partner or a 5 deal nor do I want to sell her lease her or make a cuff deal on her..I just want a trainer to train and be honest....I hope thats not asking too much.

Next year I hope to send 2 off to be broke and then to the track. in 2007 one more and in 2008 3 more...so we will have a barn full to race!

I can be reached by email [email protected] or via my web site www.horsepowercompany.com

Try James Jackson who's at Turfway at the moment. He's great with fillies.

I can get it for you this weekend, I'm seeing him Sunday. He bred, raced and sold Cashier's Dream to Team Valor. He is VERY good at breeding good horses, getting them to win on the track, and selling them for big bucks. He's the main trainer for Millennium Farms.

He will have the best two year old filly of Michigan when the awards come out. She is owned by Millennium Farms.

He does well with clients horses.

I have spoke to several trainers in the past few days and will be headed to TP before too long to meet them all.

I wanted to thank you all for the input
