Hi
8.5 furlongs, turf, MSW
A horse named Nihil Obstat (#1) caught my eye. He has absolutely terrible PP's, but is trying a route, and the grass for the first time. His profile says he should like both. Probably will be the longest shot on the board, and just may run dead last with this group, but this is the kind of horse that sometimes jumps up with a big effort in situations such as this, at very, very long odds. I like 1-2-5-8 in this one. Worth a shot.

1-2-5-8 finished waaay back, with #1 running last after showing speed. I hope nobody bet on him. Number 6, a 23-1 shot won. Had decent but not great numbers, 5th highest overall. I am eating humble pie (no cholesterol).

I figured he'd get the lead, but he got challenged early and spit it out. I was hopng he could get away alone. They didn't look like they pushed him too hard. Might be worth a look if they run him back again in a similar spot.
