question about bleeding...
do horses bleed more in warmer temps?
It really depends really on how severe a bleeder he is. Stress would be more of a factor than the temp. Not really knowing the horse's history or what KY allows or disallows as far as adjunct bleeder meds, I would still say it would be a longshot. Most horses are stopped by Lasix. Does he have some history with bleeding badly?
Edit: You peaked my interest, so I looked on his form. Unless there was some talk of him bleeding through Lasix in a past race, I don't see an issue with him. He's been on Lasix in every start and I think in most jurisdictions now you can place a horse on Lasix without proving he bleeds (in OK in the past you had to have the track vet confirm that the horse bled to use Lasix). Some trainers just put everything on it regardless. He started in New York, so maybe someone from there can help out with what the rules are on Lasix.

Stress is the most important issue for bleeders.
When a horse suffers from stress, the outside from the cells are not longer
protected, responsible is a part found in the gamma 6 aminozuren.
The only way out in this, give the horse a natural calmer product, and the problems are completely finished and over.
But when a horse suffers from a realy bad bleeding there is no way out, lasix won,t solve this problem either.

If he is stressed out and it's hot and humid, he could bleed in the post parade.
I remember @BM a filly had to be scratched because she bled halfway thru the warmup before the race.
