For Sunday Silence fans

Silent Name by Sunday Silence, goes today in the G1 Shoemaker Mile. Stronach and a couple others own. Will probably stand at Stronach's Adena Springs IMO.

That was a pretty good 3rd. I certainly hope he does stand at Adena. There aren't any decent SS sons at stud here. I'd love to see him.

Hey, Sunday_Silence, I've been cutting out races from the Blood-Horse magazine where a Sunday Silence offspring or grand offspring finished in the top three. My scrapbook collection is getting huge!

It cracks me up when TVG shows racing from Japan and over half the field (stakes races) is by SS, out of a SS mare or by one of SS's sons. And sometimes the top 3 finishers will all be his. You can pick his descendants out of the crowd pretty easily, too, since they tend to look so much like him.
