He's going again on Friday (16th) at Fairplex, 6 furlongs $32,000 claimer. Don't know how he'll handle those tight turns, but he has a fair amount of early go, so he might handle this speed favoring track. He's cutting back in distance from a mile at Del Mar where he ran 2nd.

The owners and the trainer, are on the surge for something.
So I do hope he,s having early speed as this is beneficial for this type of tracks.
Best to you

Hi

Dancer was game as usual. He handled the tight turns very well, and finished a fast closing 2nd, 3/4 of a length behind the 4 to 5 winner (owned by Sid & Jenny Craig). If the race had been 6 furlongs and 10 feet he would have won. His record now stands at 11 starts, 2 wins, 5 seconds, 1 third, 3 fifth place finishes, and over $50,000 in earnings so far.
If he can stay healthy, and emulate his mom (Tootie 59-16-8-5), and dad (Basket Weave 53-9-9-3), he should earn well over $100,000 before he's through.

Bill winning is offcourse, for most people the ultimate goal, but I prefer
a horse that collect 2nd places, in our handicap systems, earning and not
getting any weight. Keeps the balance in good order.
But as I am counting, he,s through the barriere 100K a lot earlier, after 22 starts. So he might reach 200K
Hoping he,ll stay healthy and sound.

He must be a healthy horse, and racing takes nothing out him.
Hoping finishing in the money

He ran 4th, beaten about 5 lengths. He didn't fire in the stretch like he usually does. Picked up another $2460 though. He's paying his way. Off to Oak Tree now.

Bill, maybe the race before this one, took something out of him although
not visiable to human eyes.
Best of luck next time, I am hoping that there more time in between.

Dancer ran the worst race of his short career, finishing 7th and beating just 3 horses. He really doesn't have the conduit profile for a grass horse, but I was hoping that he would prove the numbers wrong.

Well they're trying the grass again today. One mile on the turf at Oak Tree. Fourth race with Nakatani up.
