Hi Greenhills,
With interest read the conversation between you and my husband, your horse is a really lucky one! But according to your writing he must have a super character. I wish you lots of success with him in future. Warm regards,

Well, of course he's well behaved. All along he was reading the form and thought "Green Hill Farms .. rolling acres, wooded streams, lots of grass."

Sounds like a good life for him. Have fun!

Thank you so much. I just love him beyond words...as does everyone in the barn...he has a little harem of 4/5 20 to 30 year olds (ahhh...to be 30 again...LMAO!!!) who just groom him, walk him, pet him, give him treats and literally cater to his every whim. I'd say he's a happy camper, which makes me happy. And his response is not to take advantage but to give as much (or more) affection than he gets...which does say miles about his character and temperament.

Actually Green Hills Farm is just the racing name...he's actually part of Firehaven Farm now....which is a QH show barn.

For good sportshorses, the seize of the bone doesn,t matter, only the quality counts. And the temperament in the way of thinking with you, instead of against you.
But as I,am reading this threads through and through I don,t think his
old injury will stop both of you for a splendid, different career. Teaching and guiding will be the most important, as well as always be honest to yourself and him so no over asking.
Be well both of you

Right now he is still basically on vaction...but come Spring...we'll see what he can do. The winter is too too cold to mess around too much. I kinda walk/jog/lope my QH mare around and that's about it during the winter.
