Race report lol

Heavy, sticky holding track yuck (1400m)

Jumped slower than he has (about 1 length behind), caught up and sat wide 2nd last. Moved forward abit on the turn. Ran away from whip up the straight and ran on a bit into 6th.
Jockey said he was very green and just looking at everything. When he went out onto the track stopped and stared as they have a big screen about 100m infront of the winning post.
Said that he was trying to run out away from the other horses. Says to keep him over 1400m and give him a call. Still a nice horse just doesn't know anything and was looking at everything this time (raced at home track first start)

Stipe report reads

The favourite POWER CUT (G Cooksley) stood in its barrier stall and lost approximately one length. The horse then raced beyond mid field and when in the final straight ran on fairly to finish sixth. When questioned G Cooksley stated that the horse became a little unbalanced and raced a little greenly when entering the final straight but in the last 100 metres finished on strongly.

We also don't think he completely handled the track conditions so overall am happy with the run.
