Power Cut racing again

We are racing again on Wednesday 19th.

He has had 3 starts now for a 2,6,3

The jockey who rode him last time is NZ's top jockey. She said he is potentially the best horse she has ever ridden. We'll reserve judgement on that till he starts winning lol.

She was going to ride again but got suspended yesterday. The orginal jockey is still on holiday. Arranged for a replacement then had an unprecedented 4 senior jockeys (or their agents) calling looking for the ride.

We are a small stable and have never had that much interest by senior jockeys even when we had a horse win 2 in a row.

With two top jockey's saying he is a good horse I think the word might have got out lol.

Fingers crossed all goes well on wed. We will then turn him out for 3-4 weeks to have a break and race again when tracks are a little better.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you both!!!! Are you nervous? Last time our filly ran I got severe stomach pain, couln't eat anything till after.

Was very nervous. Especially once it started to rain.

Rained all day and by the time of the nineth race was a bog. Jumped out of the gates the best he's ever done (so is learning) but couldn't sprint in the bog and ended up 8th.
Going out now for 3-4 wks and will race in late sept early oct when the tracks are a bit better.
