Merry Christmas to me!

Postby toadie » Mon Dec 25, 2006 10:08 pm

Our (partnership) filly, Crafty Grey won the 9th at Sam Houston last Sat. night. I've posted b4 about her being my 1st race horse and I'm already spoiled, as she's been paying her way. Of course, this doesn't stop me from constantly thinking about how I can buy the others out and bring her home to breed.

I know how excited you must be! The past partnership horses I was involved in were not talented. Two were nonwinners, and the other bowed a tendon right after his maiden win at Oaklawn. You don't realize how great this news is yet. :P

Thanks everyone. We're particularly pleased because this was the 1st time she's showed some bravery. Usually if she gets bunched up, or bumped around she quits. This time she got roughed up and she fought back :x The jockey said she had so much left, she could have gone around again!
