Unfortunately, Dreamy Southern did not run her race today. She was 4th out of 5. Held that placing throughout the race, although she got within 2-1/2 lengths from the leader in the stretch before fading.

Personally, I think a mile and a sixteenth might have been a bit of a stretch for her based solely on her older sis's performances. Africa was usually a pacesetter but had a tendency to fade in the late stretch. But I'm sure Dreamy Southern's trainer is much more qualified to make this call than I am. LOL

Unfortunately, she ran 5th out of 9. (She's going backward....3rd, 4th, 5th in her last three starts). Hopefully she'll show more in the future.
