Vestal Heights might return

Postby BenB » Sat Aug 06, 2005 12:22 pm

VH might return to the track again.
After her last start in Hamburg (North germany, where she stayed over)
She got home very thin because of the hauling back. ( she,s very nervous). After two weeks being fed up, she started to work and she
bled in the training. First time ever, nor her dam, nor her sire ever done
that. Got her scoped, taken bloodsamples nothing to be found there.
Giving her millefolium that worked out very well. It helps to get elasticity
back in the lungvessels and it stops bleeding. Probably she was in discomfort what we couldn,t locate, supposingly the trainer was dooing too good fedding her up.
Got a stiff breeze last week with a router ( 6 furlongs) on the sand without problems. Next week is scheduled with two stiff works again, with the same fellow. He,s a miler by birth. So fingers crossed, as I,am having only one.

Good luck with her. It seems there are always setbacks... we've been going through a few of those ourselves. But hopefully she will prevail in the end.

BenB, how much Millefolium (commonly known in the States as Yarrow, and with some cultivated versions growing in lots of gardens around here) did you give her?

Since you can't reach for the Lasix in Europe, I suspect more thinking has been done about this problem there than here.

I use for this purpose a fluid mix of these: achillea Millefolium,
Equisetum Arvense and Capsella bursa-pastoris Giving just 5 drups from each of them in the morning and at the evening putting it on her tongue
All have in common that they restore the elasticy of the lung (vessels, not good in explanation) and stop the bleeding from the bloodvessels in a natural way.
Byond she get Apium Graveolens var. rapaceum the last is for weigh balance getting rid of not necessary fluid in the body. Get them dry up a little bit.
The best is get them out in a narurel pasture with natural plants in it, but that,s a problem with horse in a training stable.
Be sure it does work
