race performance

hi i m trying to find out how my horse gayton run got on in his races and how many he ran in . i know he ran at bangor 9th october 93, 11th april 95, and southwell 8th may 95.i would like to know how he did and if he ran in any others.i also know he was pulled up in his last race due to a bleed i ll be interested in any information thanks.

I'm afraid our friends at Equineline won't be much help in this instance; this fellow was a hurdler in the UK, and if the APR is any indication, Equineline's reports do not include National Hunt races.

Here is his record from the Racing Post website - I can't confirm that it's complete, though.

You can click on the dates to see the order of finish for each race. I'm afraid your guy wasn't too keen on his earlier career - he finished well back in his first two, and was distanced and/or pulled up the others. Good thing he found you!

First time out he ran 5th beaten 42 lengths in a six-horse race

Second time out he didn't finish, and those were his only two starts.

That first race was 2 miles over hurdles and the second race was 3+ miles over hurdles.
