History and Information for "Proton" (GB)
This is my ex-racer.. I'd love to know anymore information on him.. He is 16 now, born mar 1990 sire - Sure Blade (USA) dam - Banket (GB). Have found he was raced from 1993-1998. Have met one of his jockey (Richard Dunwoody) who is trying to find his old racing colours etc. Does anyone know of any sites that may give me some more information and pictures/videos of him racing ?

You can get the chart for each race by clicking on the dates.
Over here you can contact the tracks for copies of a horse's win photos, or even videos of the races....I don't know if it works the same way in England, but it's worth looking into.
Your horse carried some great riders - including one of the greatest ever, Lester Piggot!
His most recent trainer was a J. Akehurst of Epsom, and his last listed owner was the 'Persian War Partnership'. In looking at the chart it seems he had at least one earlier owner - 'Tony Alper Garages Ltd.'.
