Who is my horse?

I bought a TB gelding from a women who told me he was a retired jumper. That she had bought him from the lady who jumped him, and now the lady I bought him from just didn't have time for him. I knew nothing about horses, and took her at her word. I love this horse but have no clue about his backround. I know he must have jumped, he is great in the arena, and jumps wonderfully. Like he has ben doing it for years. I would love to see pics, or a pedigree for him. He has no tatoo, my vet says he is around 18 yrs old. The name I was given is Forrest Jump or Forest Jump depending on spelling. Any help would be great, thanks in advance!

There's a 1994 model in the database:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/forest+jump. That would make him 13 yrs old...

Guess we can't be absolutely certain of anything relating to the horse you bought other than he must be younger than the movie Forest Gump.
I can add that the official runner named Forest Jump did in fact race in jumping races overseas, and that could explain why he didn't have a tattoo.
My records show three starts and that he finished only one race, a race in which he won.
The distance was 3 miles on February 15, 2001 at Taunton, England.
He was the favorite of fourteen starters.
Wouldn't begin to know how to confirm that indeed this is the horse you own.
Guess there must be a picture you could buy from overseas, but I draw the line at being able to help any beyond offering that date and place.

Here is Forest Jump's lifetime record from the UK racing site Racingpost.co.uk -

It gives his breeders' name as Frank Lacy, perhaps if you can track that gentleman down he'll know if this is the same horse.
Good Luck!
