Kims Turn

Kim's Turn born 1977 by Turn Right. I know she won a couple of times, 3rd December 1980 at Key, and 29th December at Pen. I'm not too familiar with track abbreviations, but I'd like to know who to contact to get winner's circle photos if it's still possible.

Also if she had any progeny besides Sigilosa, I'd be interested in hearing details about them also.

Thanks in advance.

She also had Procuradora, a 1985 bay filly (unraced) x Levee Dancer.

Sorry to bother people again, but the database isn't very informative in terms of progeny. Do you think there are any descendants of Kim's Turn alive today? Did either of her offspring have offspring themselves?

I'm doing this research for a friend who hotwalked Kim's Turn at Delaware Park and remembers her very fondly. I know she wasn't an important horse, but my friend was so overjoyed when I gave her a copy of the pedigree and race record, that I'd love to find other information.

Still on the topic of Kim's Turn. I was looking to try to get a winner's circle photo for my friend, and Penn National were very quick to call back. Unfortunately the negatives from 1980 when she won that race are in storage and they don't expect to have access to them for about a year.

On the 3rd December 1980 Kim's Turn won another race by 3&1/2 lengths at a track which has the abbreviation KEY. I have no idea where this is. Her races before that were at Suffolk and after two races at 'KEY' she then raced at Penn National for the rest of her career.

Does anybody have any idea where KEY was and who might have their archives?

'KEY' would be Keystone Race Track - now known as Philadelphia Park. :)

The track has changed hands twice since 1980, so who knows where the old archives would be....but it can't hurt to email the folks at Philly and ask.
