Wow. Never heard of a death certificate for a TB, unless, I guess, a particualr vet might give the owner a report on the horse's death, if it was examine. Odd request, or am I the only one who thinks so?

Well, you're "supposed" to file one with the Jockey Club when a TB dies. Some people do, some don't bother. So, just because there is not one filed does not mean that the horse is still alive, necessarily. However, I'm glad you responded to this thread because I meant to look these up for Nessa... I didn't get to it fast enough, then forgot. So, here's what I can tell you:

Thanks for the replies and info. I had a feeling that Marina Way was dead as I never found any info for her at all, and American Will fell in her last race so that's why I inquired about her. The others have just disappeared of the face of the Earth. I guess I'll just have to keep looking for them. Thanks again Rougelet
