Looking for previous owners, trainers or any info about SAMZ JOHN, a 26 YO blk/br TB gelding foaled in Virginia in 1983. Sire: Ole Bob Lehmann, Dam: Miss Bounty. Breeder: Samuel W. Campbell. Close relative of the legendary JOHN HENRY.
SAMZ JOHN had 5 racing starts... 3 at 2YO and 2 at 4YO. The mystery is what was he doing and where was he for the last 21 years? A show horse?... a riding horse?
Could also have gone under another name. Purchased fairly recently in eastern Pennsylvania.
