Won't be so easy to research this... but
Hi,
Re: Edipo Re
13yo Gelding by Slip Anchor - Lady Barrister, by Law Society
He won his career debut at San Siro, Italy on Sept. 16, 1994 and then never won again.
Most of his career was spent racing over hurdles at distances of up to 2 1/2 miles.
Last start was on June 13, 2001 at Hereford, England
That lone win was in a one mile race that was not run over hurdles.
At least you have the data. I'd be interested to know whether you could obtain anything such as a win circle picture. Let us know ??

Truthfully I am unsure how successful you can be with trying to garner a win photo from a track in Italy. The surely must have such things, but you're on your own as far as making contact.
As stated before, the track at San Siro, Italy is the place and Sept. 16, 1994 was the date.
He was bred by Cheveley Park Stud Ltd. in England with the last listed trainer having been Ian Williams.
Three different times during his race career Edipo Re was out of action for more than a year.
He raced from age 2 to age 9 and only started 14 times.
hope this helps you a little bit.

some small help with Italy:
first go to world.altavista.com and figure out how to translate web pages.
an e-mail address which might be the racing secretary for the flat racing at San Siro is
[email protected]
Here are a couple of terms you might make sense of:
Ippodromo San Siro
http://www.ippodromimilano.it/
"contatti" seems to mean "contact"
I would write what you want, in english, including the date and horse name, and then put the blocks of your english text into the translator at
world.altavista.com
and include both blocks of text in the e-mail, and see what happens.
Maybe even direct him to world.altavista.com so he might send you an english translation.
This is a wild chase. good luck!!
