Hi I'm looking for info on my daughters horses dam and sire. His name is Birthday Dancer born 2000. His sire is Danzatame and dam is Mom's Birthday. I'm just wondering where they are now. I know Danzatame was in NY state in 2002 and that's all I could find. Couldn't find any info. on Mom's Birthday.

Does anyone know where they are now?

My daughter (13) bought Birthday Dancer in Aug. He didn't make it was a racer so now he's training as a hunter/jumper.

Any information would be great. Thanks in advance. :D

For starters, I can offer that your daughter's horse himself beat only six foes in seven career starts.

I really don't know how I can help other than to say that your horse was the last foal from the mare. Was hoping that there would be others, with listed breeders, from which clues could be gained.

Dam would be 21 now if she is still around (nearly 22)

Sorry to not offer anything further.

Thanks Jimble. Wow I didn't realize his Dam was so old. I know my daughters horse was very bad on the track but he's got a new job and she loves him very much. Thanks again for your help.

The mare Mom's Birthday had a foal (un-named) in 2001 and she foaled in NY. No other info was given.

He won his first race ever, January 18, 1997 at Aqueduct, NY, and then lost his final 24 starts but got 5 seconds and 3 thirds.

His appeal as a stallion comes from the many successful pedigree influences in his blue blooded family.

Danzatame is a half-brother to fashionable sire and multiple stakes-winner Gone West, who is ten years older. He is also half-brother to Gone West's full brother Lion Cavern, who was a multiple graded stakes-winner.

Indeed a lot of rich pedigree to him. Anyone who knows thoroughbred pedigrees would marvel at many of the names that turn up when you plug Danzatame into this site's pedigree query area.
