Delta is really protective of Blew, she is also right next to her. I don't blam her for being so protective, last year she lost a beautiful filly. The filly was born dead, she was a Storm Cat granddaughter.

Blew's name comes from a Bass boat that I saw the day before, "Blew By You" I just thought it would be a unique name for a horse. It fits her very well. Also the day she was born the wind started up really bad.

I bought her mom in December of 2005 at the Emerald Down Thoroughbred sale. She was an impluse buy.

Mom seems to be quite taken with her first baby. Congratulations!

So is her name Blew By You? or simply Blew?

I like Blew By You better! 'specially if she's gonna be a racehorse.
