Mustang Jock Colt 3 Months Old

Postby JaradM » Thu Apr 05, 2007 5:59 pm

To my suprise my mare (Miss Lucky Mertz by Mertzon) foaled her Mustang Jock Colt this morning. She did not wax up at all and I had checked her this morning around 7am. Went to Lowes to pick up some supplies to fix a fence and when I drove back up at the farm there was a little colt jetting across the pasture  . I will post pictures as soon as they are downloaded. He is bigger than a two week old global mission colt.

JaradM, he is a great looking baby to be only a few hours old. We have had 3 other foals, that we know of, born in the last couple of days and everyone is very pleased with their baby!! Now we're waiting on the other 30+ foals to be born.

Looks like Mustang Jock is living up to his pedigree.

Thanks again for the pics.

Jarad, to post your pics on the board, all you have to do is copy the contents of the 'IMG code' box on Photobucket (it's the bottom box below each photo). Then just paste it in to the message body here.

clh, I have seen pics of one other foal and he looks just as good. I am pleasantly surprised at the nice big bones. If JaradM's colt grows to those hocks and knees he will be a whopper! :) There's nothing like believing in your freshman stallion, waiting a year, and then seeing what he throws. To say I am thrilled would be an understatement.

Thanks
