I sent that 1st picture to co-workers & customers & was suddenly deluged with requests for more . . . it was easier to have the camera ready at the right moment when she was indoor/outdoor - turn her out, snap the shutter & you're good to go. But when she went outside to live, it was harder to get those high-energy shots because my camera was almost never there at the right moment.
Duckzilla - is named in part by combining her parents names [and adding a "z"]:
Duckhorn + Miribilla = Duck
zilla
And it partly reflects how huge she was at birth.
"Is this a warmblood cross?" asked the vet.
The chestnut mare behind 'Zilla in the original picture is her dam. The bay mare is a Marquetry daughter &
HER foal is on the "General Discussion" forum where I accidentally hijacked Jorge's "Who is that colt/filly" thread. He was asking about a foal with spots in its blaze & so I posted a picture of the foal with a similar blaze [and promised pictures of yet another filly on THIS board, since Lucy knows her mama.]
But what the heck - another picture of Duckzilla and the Marquetry mare's daughter [barn name: Little Rocq] won't hurt, will it?
