Weather Warning x Otra Vez - COLT!

Postby OtraV » Tue Apr 14, 2009 11:41 am

This little guy made his appearance on March 27th at the respectable hour of 6:45 am. His dam Otra Vez (Rahy) has already produced the multiple stakes winner Sugar Bay (Syncline).

He is bold and makes sure he's into everything. :)

Pictured at 2 weeks

That's a super mare to have too... great family. To whom are you breeding her this year?

Thanks all! He's quite the little character, always wanting to know what you are doing and why.

Otie's headed to Kentucky tomorrow to be bred to Discreet Cat. Both my boss (who owns the mare) and I are going to miss watching and laughing at the pair of them. This is the first time since he bought her she's going away to be bred. How do you all do it?

We have one left to foal, Jilted Love (Matter of Honor) is due next week, she's in foal to Survivalist. Looking forward to this one.

Nice colt :) You'll have to post pics of your Survivalist, if I remember correctly Jilted Love is a gray mare?... Survivalist seems to be throwing a fair bit of white so I am sure you will get a flashy foal :)

Yep Lovie is the grey, well a dirty hairy grey right now. She's due Monday but it seems most of the mares are going over. I hope this one has some white, Otie's colt has the teeniest bit on his hind and that's it.

Lovie's last years colt has a nice big blaze and white almost to his hock on his left hind, so hopefully this one gets some too. I've seen a few of his foals and I'm liking what I see. :D
