YEP - You are getting the same thing (only before us) that we're supposed to be getting in OH - what is up with this crap? I thought it was spring??? It was 80 degrees yesterday and it is supposed to be a high of 30 something today
And of course have the entire family coming over Saturday for Easter dinner and an egg hunt - guess that will happen in the house....
Any action yet? Maybe the thunder boomers got her moving last night

Nope, she's quietly munching hay right now... the brat.
Yeah, my dad is coming to spend Easter with the kids... I told him that he would be hiding Easter eggs in snow drifts for them. He didn't find that very amusing.

We are STILL anxiously waiting with you
Hopefully she'll wait for the thaw - news today said Easter Sunday was going to be colder here in OH than Christmas Day - not something is WRONG WITH THAT!!! With luck she'll wait until the Easter festivities are over

Yeah, a green Christmas and a white Easter.
I can only afford to buy older broodmares--ones that have been through this enough to have developed an evil sense of humor: "Hmm, I think I'll look dilated at 9:00 p.m. so he'll sleep in the barn, at midnight I'll lay down and thrash around a bit to keep him here, and then by 4:00 a.m. I'll look like I did a month ago. Gee, I wonder how long I can keep him falling for this gag?"
Brrrrrr.

Roguelet, don't give up yet. It has to come out sometime.
My first mare was over a year late last year. She would give us new signs everday, when she finally foaled there wasn't one sign. It was the same this year, she was showing signs and nothing. Then on the day she had April this year not one sign she was going to foal. Of course both times I just gave up the middle of the night checks.
