Lost foal...

Lost Ace (mare). My brother done everything he could to save them. I am finally accepting the fact both have left. It has been 4-5 weeks now. I've been home for one day now from Denver and there is a special feeling to see the neighbors, friends, horses, dogs, cats, etc. It has been a rough 2 months, but with the Creator's guidance, it has been bearable. I know someday I'll be in the winners circle with my horse. So I'll be looking again for this special, future horse...

Sorry to hear it. I'm not sure I understand all the note. Did you lose your mare Ace and her foal to complications of foaling? Or is your mare missing?

Yes, both died as a result of complications of foaling.

I'm chiming in very late here, Thunder, but I was very saddened to hear of the loss of Ace. It's been a tough year all over.
Hope there are better days ahead.
