I was told Marbles is very full of milk...she doesn't wax before giving birth, just break water, lie down and gives birth within minutes and then jumps up..it's 1 day short of her last delivery of 351 days...told the owner to call me no matter how late it is...

Nothing to report...her pasture mate foaled 4 days ago and my mare was whinney to her during the delivery and got the whole barn worked up

I have no patience...I am trading her in for a mare that foals within a reasonable amount of time...each foal gets later and later..I think her foaling days are over..she got pregnant 3 times on one cover and the damn horse can't foal on a timely basis..my blood pressure is up to 170 I need a cocktail

Of course all be forgiven when I see the foal :lol:

thank you so much...I am 2 hours away from her and I think that's worse or I want to feel it's worse when I can't see her everyday :roll:

Yep, Savana that would be me! Still waiting on 2nd grandbaby to come! Nothing happening yet and I am anxious for this to be over! Between waiting for foals and waiting on this grandbaby my nerves are frayed to say the least - I don't know what these kids were thinking getting pregnant to birth at this time of the year (HA) - ingrates is what they are!! HA

The future big sister has decided she is not going to have a baby brother - it will be a sister. Heaven forbid they have a boy-child - they may have to leave it at the hospital! She goes in on Thursday for another ultrasound but they think she'll go before then. Told her I was busy tomorrow as I go to the shoulder surgeon and I've put that appointment off as long as I can. Granddaughter will stay with us and she keeps saying "nannie will you take me to the hospital?" She's scared no one will take her to see her new baby!

I'll let you know when this one foals (HA).

thanks while waiting I made the following from scratch: sweet rolls, chocolate cookies with walnuts and an apple pie the past few days...tomorrow I am making a yellow cake with chocolate icing from scratch... :roll:

I need to clean my house but that's no fun
