The farm owner called me while Marbles was giving birth..here comes the legs..then we hung up...when she called back 5 minutes later the foal was out and mama was standing and washing it...and trying to get the foal to stand..I could hear Marbles talking to the baby ..I am rambling..I am tired 353 days..it's not a chestnut like the others but it has a white blaze like mama and papa

When I talk to the owner I'll ask if she has a digital camera...I am definitely going down to PA either tomorrow or Friday to spend the weekend

So glad it's filly I wanted the bloodlines of the sire's dam (Mariah's Storm) for breeding..

Thanks

So far his only stake winners are fillies..the males are staked placed..I was told that the crop hitting the track this year will be his best so far..but I am pleased considering the smaller number in his first crops compared to others..especially since they seem to need more distance...big Owners wants speed popping 2 year olds breaking their maidens at 4.5-5.5F in early spring ....I can wait

That's what I am talking about!

Let them grow up and let them go long. That way they can come back season after season. Don't burn them out before they have a chance to grow up. The freuds Ive been on were great workers, and keep breeding on the up and up, tends be a lot of fine white legs.

But congratulations with Marbles! Its' about time right?!!

GREAT news!

Personally I love a real flashy chrome horse, but only when those white legs have A LOT of bone! I'll keep my fingers crossed for your girl! (Hey you got what you wanted!) Can't wait to see her!!! Keep me updated. PS Ol' Flag got in foal on one cover!!!! Im so excited, she is the best mom. OO this is Flag's kid from the last 2 years. (Regal Classic filly 06 and Distinctive Pro colt 05)! (now that I figured out this image thing i can show yOU!)

Eltish, I'm lost. Is the chestnut the Regal Classic filly and the older dark brown horse the Distinctive Pro colt? Both are great looking individuals.

Yea sorry henthorn,

I had been chatting with Savana S. D. about one of my mares that she was familiar with. The chestnut is the Regal Classic from 2006, and the dark bay is the Distinctive Pro from 2005.
The previous pictures..... The very first one with the blaze is a Regal Classic colt out of New York Jet, the mare in discussion, 1st born.
The second picture of the kid with the cute ears, is who I originally intended to post about... Regal Classic x La Finale. My In Reality mare.
Sorry for all the confusion, but now that I have figured out this pic thing i want to show everyone, everything!!!
 Im a proud parent, what can i say!

I remember those days 13 years ago...those grass races for NY breds were a tough bunch..we kept knocking into each and it seemed after breaking maiden and nw1, before restoring nw2 for NY breds, running against open company was brutal with Caressing, Alywow, etc who went on to be graded stakes winners ..even the open claimers were tough..you really had to earn your check the hard way because purses were nearly half of what it is today..maiden 23K, nw1 26k..the way an average horse earned over $100K was longevity and heart

So I am glad that one of the old troopers NY Flag is doing so well..wish Light and Love was still alive..I still have her halter..when I get my farm I am hanging it up in an empty stall..she wasn't great but she gave all she had
