Our mare had her Cuvee foal yesterday morning about 5 am. Mare and baby are doing well although he is on the smallish size and DID NOT GET ANY OF CUVEE'S chrome! Looks alot like mom

Which is okay by me - so far both are doing well!

Congratulations, he is so cute.
It is hard to tell from the angle, but it looks like he has a star.
Cuvee is a gorgeous boy, he certainly does have a lot of chrome.
Best of luck.

C, he looks like he has a big-boned frame, even if he's starting out small. Congratulations! S

He has a small star from what the farm manager said and he has white on one leg

Hey, will make the JC papers much easier to fill out since I had major issues with the "flashy" colts last year - had to do those suckers two or three times
Thanks guys! Love it that you love him

LOL Cheryl, I can relate. It seemed like Storm Halo's markings description filled half the page. High ragged socks, ermine spots, belly spot, star, snip, strip and chin...she had everything but zebra stripes.
Congrats on your colt!

Thanks guys - talked to the farm today and he is calling the boy "immature" - says he is still pretty shakey but is doing well! Am going down this weekend or first part of next week now that the daughter-in-law has foaled - hopefully I can get away for a day now
Zia - what is up with the Jockey Club? Jeez - I know they need specifics but seriously on those colts I had to send info two times on one and three times on the other one. I thought I was going to stroke out. I sent so many pictures of the Tapit filly they probably thought I was an idiot but I sure didn't get requests for more specifics (HA). A baby with a star and a small white sock ought to be a piece of cake! (fingers crossed)
