We got at 11 am, March 6th a lovely bay filly by Shelter. She did this after keeping us up 5 nights in a row! Nasty mare. She is huge and beautiful and was bought right away by Winpower Stables of Kanata, Ontario!

The buyer had bred one of his mares 2 years ago to Shelter and got a lovely filly that is now a yearling. He liked her so much he bred the mare back as well as another mare. Then he thought he should be cutting back on horses so I bought the 2nd mare. He then decided that he wanted the foal so he purchased her after she was born. So basically this year he has a yearling and will have 2 weanlings by Shelter.
Understand??
Ok so how do I put pics on this site?? I cannot figure this one out.

She looks like she's bracing herself...probably avoiding a tumble into snow!

That is what she was doing, trying to avoid the snow her first time out. It was very unlike the arena footing. Now all she wants to do is eat the snow and roll in it. Its disappearing to quickly though. Thanks for the comments.
