Honour and Glory filly

Postby amanda1 » Sat Apr 07, 2007 3:14 pm

Our Rubiano mare had a filly by Honour and Glory at 4 am this morning. Our mare is basically a horse stuck on pony legs, but this filly has the longest legs I've ever seen! Her cannon bones are almost as long as mom's now! Mom had some trouble as one leg was folded up and the head was off to one side, much pulling and grunting by all! The filly was a bit weak initially but is doing just fine.

I will ATTEMPT to post pics soon but don't anybody hold their breath!

She's chestnut-ish right now but has lighter legs with dark underneath so she may turn bay, nice star, tiny strip and a snip on her nose. She has one sock and a couple of white coronets.

Pictures to follow...
