Our mare, true to form, just presented us with the newest addition to the farm tonight. She's now 7 for 7; all fillies. I don't think she knows how to "grow" anything else!

I'll post pictures eventually, but you all know how quickly I get around to that, so don't hold your breath...

Great news! I've got one that's trying to challenge your mare. She's five for five boys so far.

just because it was posted on a different thread... do you happen to know what time of day she was bred? Maybe she needs to try being a morning glory (I think fillies were said to come from afternoon breedings).

Honestly, I have no idea. We've bred at all hours, and I don't remember when her particular cover was. It wouldn't have been the same time every year, though, I can pretty much guarantee that.

I've always had a theory about the uterine pH being a determining factor in this whole thing, and I had a PM from a poster that backed up my theory. I'll let that poster tell her story if she wants to here. Incidentally, I also have a mare who is 5 for 5, all colts.

I will give you a few grand if you can convince all my mares to deliver fillies next year...

He can only take credit for three of them. The other four are by four other different stallions...
