Updated Foal Pictures of All Five

Postby clh » Fri Jun 15, 2007 7:14 pm

Brought the foals up on the porch today to get their fly masks on and to mud their legs so thought it would be a good time to snap some pictures. They aren't the best, but here they are. Sometimes my camera seems so "grainy". Feel free to critique them ....

 I was 'struck' by the Toccet filly, even though I couldn't see all of her, she just seems striking...racy-filly-I can just see her picture on the cover of the Bloodhorse winning something! I love Toccet, anyway.

Great hip(s) on the Even the Score and Medallist! WOW! Are they the oldest of the bunch?

Thanks for sharing. Will you race them or are they for sale?

Your in OH, I'm in OH - "come on over to my place baby"

Seriously, you are welcome anytime to come and look at them if you'd like.

Amy - actually the Lion Heart and Cuvee foals are February babies (2/12 and 2/27) and the Even the Score and the Medallist colt are March babies (3/18 and 3/15).

I'd love to race them but we aren't that far yet into our program - so no, they will be heading to the sales - preferrably November but if they aren't ready a later sale - probably yearling.

I really enjoy seeing pictures of your foals. They all look great, and seem very muscular and athletic looking.
Of course, I love your avatar filly, she really does look like she is wearing eye liner.
The Medallist colt caught my eye especially.
Please continue to keep us updated.

Thanks Judi! Appreciate it!

NEWS FLASH GUYS! I think my Even the Score boy is turning grey :) Doesn't look it but he is now getting lots of patches of white hairs all over and a larger patch on his side. Geez the Tapit filly was completely grey by the time she was this age and had shed out - but I guess since the Big Boy Daddy is a grey it was likely to happen! I love greys  We'll have to wait and see and make sure he just isn't doing something funky

Nope - the Even the Score colt is out of Laird's Honor (Honor Grades out of Laird's Cup).

Here's the rest:

Filly - Lion Heart out of African Skyline (Saint Ballado out of Why Go on Dreaming)
Filly - Toccet out of Allou (Seattle Slew out of Fun Crowd)
Colt - Medallist out of Anna K. (Boston Harbor out of On the Tree Top)
Colt - Cuvee out of Ocumare (Slew o' Gold out of Peroxide Princess)

and of the course the Tapit filly out of McCaskill (Copelan out of Bally Bis)
