Some of you may remember our mare who was discussed on here several times last year; the one who was covered by Crafty Prospector right before his colic last year and didn't get in foal... the one who was talked to by an animal communicator because the farm where she was sent to be closer to KY for breeding couldn't get her to cycle or do anything right for months... Of course when we sent her down there she was cycling normally, and when we got her back home at the very end of breeding season, she was also cycling normally, and we bred her, and she got in foal with no problems...  We probably could've just kept her home and got her bred ourselves several months earlier, but I digress...

ANYWAY, the point of this post is to say that she delivered a filly last night, and that marks the end of our foaling for the year. She only took 333 days, all of our others went late. Maybe she's trying to back herself up for us.

Congrats! Sigh of relief that foaling season is safely over for you  Just think - it will only be about 7 months and we can begin all over again.

Pictures when you have time Rogue
