A couple 3 month old pics of Kiss Me Im Clever

Postby lazyfranch » Sat Jun 30, 2007 12:53 pm

Went to visit mom and filly today at the Stallion's and get some new pics. No one was home, so we didn't turn them out, but I was able to get a few stall pictures.

She looks so much like her sire

The color and markings on your filly are really very striking. It looks like she is a good size too. Keep us posted on her progress.

What a pretty girl - but I'm a sucker for chrome anyhow and it looks like she's got it :)

thanks y'all, she's my first full TB and I am amazed at how huge she seems to me.

Someone was at the barn the other day and told the barn owner they'd be interested in buying her. Apparently they thought they could pick her up for $1,000-$1,500.00 umm no, she is for sale, but IMO is worth more than that!

We have had some changes in our household (now raising a 3 and 5 yo grandkids) and she may be slightly negotiable, but not that much! lol

I hope the changes in your household weren't too traumatic but how wonderful to have the grandchildren with you all the time :) I'd still mine if I could get away with it and they didn't know where I live (about a mile away!)

Take care and give those grandkids a big hug!

Thanks clh, they are a little traumatic for the kids as they don't have either of their parents with them, and a little for us, as we thought we were not raising kids (we've only been married 7 years, bless my husband for loving these grandbabies as his own) but we love them dearly.

There is nothing we wouldn't sacrifice to make sure they get the life they deserve.

ok, now that I'm a blabbering off topic fool.....

Anyone think this filly is true blacK? When she was born she had a silver sheen to her coat.

She is most likely a dark bay, also known as a brown horse. She has the telltale tan coloring around the eyes and on the muzzle. A true black horse has not one brown hair on its body and is genetically quite different.

Thanks Madelyn, she is more than likely going to look just like daddy then, which is fine with me.

She sure was black when she was born.

Guess I'll ship some hair off to UC Davis before registration so I can register her correctly.
