size of foal and naming...

Postby Evenheaven » Sun Jul 01, 2007 7:32 pm

I have a colt that I need to name and need help!!! His sire is Cathy's Regal Son and dam is August Sunset.
Off the topic, but I had a discussion with a frind the other day and we were talking about foal size at birth... what is considered a large foal?
Thanks in advance for all the help!

how about August Son??? kinda a play on word spelling to combine the two names???Summer Son, or maybe go with something on the romantic end....if you were with a regal son at a August Sunset.....maybe Summer Luvin???NOt real good with this but maybe it will open some doors for everyone else....

Augustus open? Brings in the "regal" aspect . . .

A tb foal might be considered "large" on my farm at 125+ lbs birthweight. Others might have another standard.

TB foal..

I thought anything 100# or over was large...or for me, anything I couldn't lift and readily move by myself in strange situations...sigh...

"Cathy's Son-o-Sunset," "August Horizon," "Katrina's Sol," "Augustus Sol," o.k., o.k., that's all I could come up with...
