My stallions only foal this year is a colt (pic)

Postby tammysinnett » Wed Apr 16, 2008 8:35 am

We didn't pursue breeding last year with our boy for we wanted to see how his offspring from 2006 trained etc for putting more on the ground. We did donate a breeding and it was purchased by Horvath Racing. I was able to visit their farm yesterday and see the new colt....Here he is one day old, no name yet.....suggestions are welcome. Summit Climber/ Little Muffin

Summit will have 12 foals for 2009.....training went very well :)

Tammy - he's a cutie! I stink at names - the only one I could come up with is Muffin Climber ;)

OK, maybe I have an odd sense of humor but I love the name Muffin Climber. :D

Tammy, congrats on the new colt and I'm glad training is going well with the others!

Cute baby and it's awesome that you took responsibilty to see how his other foals perform and skip a season. Not many would do that. Kudos!!

Now I'll flip the script on the name and say Muffin Summit, as that sounds so much better than a silly ol' peace summit, and surely there would be better food at the first !!
trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while. :)

Since his broodmare sire is Bounding Basque, how about Summit Bound?

Postby tammysinnett » Thu Apr 17, 2008 11:05 pm

oh thankyou everyone! keep the names coming my gosh I am still smiling. ....I will give them all to the owners ....again thankyou. Another note ....the foal has two back whites and one higher than the other then he has a left front white ...star and snip white..could not figure out where these markings came from and the only one that seems to be close is Gone West ....oh wish it worked like that if they carried on their markings they also carried on their running abilities.....wow I am dreamin already!!!!!
