Gone Fishin-Aidensfield colt

Postby Maureen » Fri May 09, 2008 7:24 pm

Around two this afternoon, Aidensfield (Apalachee-Knightly Donna) delivered a nice big colourful colt by Gone Fishin after a rather stessfull foaling. 'Andy' presented himself upside down, with his head caught back, and the cord wrapped around his leg, and the mare wouldn't lay down.

Thanks to the great team of Jacquie from Hillside Thoroughbreds and Nicki the stallion owner, he was delivered safely and alive! Excellent work ladies! I owe you a night out!

We think he is liver chestnut, and boy does he have a lot of white! He's a cutie.
