No Milk Mama!!!!

Postby larrygene » Mon May 12, 2008 12:02 pm

Mare had beautiful colt but not giving enough milk for baby. Someone had posted an ingenius way of feeding the foal but I can't seem to find it. If you remember how they rigged up a milk feeder please let me know.

Thanks,
Larrygene

A friend told me to mix beer in with the mares grain to help her produce more milk. Something with the hops helps them.

You might want to discuss Domperidone with your veterinarian. It may help to stimulate milk-production.
