My lutalyse filly, Mirskofens Miracle
I am pretty darn proud of this filly. She may not be great but she has a great story
We bred our mare, Sexiano - Rubiano o/o Sexy Fresa, to Running Stag while he was in Texas. We were so excited with this breeding but we ended up with twins. Simple fix...pinch one, right? Sexi is declared in foal with only one ... Now we are really excited! In August we drew blood to be sent off for a preg check but the blood got lost in the mail. We were pushed for time to pay the stud fee and we were going on vacation so we opted to have her utlrasound. The ultrasound showed two embryonic vessiciles and no heart beat! Devastation set in and a few tears flowed! We were suppose to give Sexi lutalyse for 3 days to help her flushout. Instead we went on vacation and gave her the shots when we got home (approx 2 1/2 weeks later). In January this year we took Sexi to the vet for a clean bill of health check and low and behold the vet said "she just kicked me" ... tears again
I wanted a big strapping gray colt and I got a beautiful healthy bay filly with a white thumb print on the bridge of her nose of about 100 gray hairs! Somebody has a sense of humor LOL

Zinn, the name is great, but my husband got to pick this one and he grew up in a small town in Germany called Mirskofen, but I did pick the "miracle" LOL... Mirskfens Miracle
Running Stags foals don't seem to run until 3 or later .. not wishing my life away but I can't wait to see her run! She has a beautiful stride and tough attitude
