birth dates off this year

first mare went over one week, now we are on our second .... a week over due date and I just went to the barn...she is munching on hay say what??? camera stopped working so until hubby gets up I guess I will be wearing my boots to bed....easier to just go out there that way....I know I am just so full of humor but it is 206 in the morning and I really want a baby.......can someone send the stork to our farm???

Good things come to those who wait - or so they say (of course, I think "they" are full of crap most of the time - ha). Having lost our first foal this year I'm having baby withdrawals - I can't wait to have our first one!!!! Going to my vet's house and seeing his babies (who are the sweetest thing in the world - a couple of TB's and a TB/paint - just isn't quite the same as going there and seeing my own and knowing in a few weeks they'll be coming home). Hang in there!

We're also in the same boat. Already had one mare go 3 weeks over. I have a mare now that as of today, is 2 weeks over and another mare is due today. Neither of those two mares look even remotely close other than a huge bag. Everyone keeps asking why I look so tired.

All I can say is thank goodness for cameras or I wouldn't have gotten any sleep in the last month.

do you think it has to do with the seasons?? we already had a full moon I believe last week so that isnt it.....golly I really had plans for Saturday but they are worth cancelling to see a new baby come into the world...I am a little uneasy because the first mare our stallion was to foal with lost hers last weekend....I am nervous...this one is a big baby bigger than she has ever carried ...she has always has had girls so just maybe Bruce aka Batman is soon to come.....grandkids have him named.....his actual race name wil be SUM DARK KNIGHT
