Is this the year of long gestation periods or what? My Mining mare is now at 359 days, fully bagged up but no waxing yet. All of my other horses are mad at me becasue I have been going to the farm 6 times a day and not feeding them each time

All of our mares went long this year--not quite as long as yours, but still, longer than they usually do.
Good luck, I hope she foals soon!

Our first mare due this year went 363 days! The waiting is the worst, but they come when they're ready, despite what we think

We have another one due this weekend, but she doesn't look even close to being ready. Ahh well, the wait continues...
Good luck for a healthy baby and mama for you!

360 was the number she was looking for. We had a bay colt at 7am this morning. Up, nursing, and healthy!

360! Anderson Cooper, very clever! We're at 359 today and if I get a 360 baby, you better believe Mr. Cooper is getting an email!

Congratulations! 360 days is too long. Why do these mares do it to us? ...as if 11 motnhs wasn't too long already.
