Our 1st. foal of the season arrived at 3:00 this morning. A filly by Out Of Place & out of our mare Carly Pooh. One of the final crop by Out of Place.
One down & 2 to go !

Thanks Mood Swings. Our mare was bred by Elliott Walden so I assume there must have been a Carly in the family who liked Pooh.

The filly now has a name ; she is named in honor of my Grand Daughter Brianna & her name is Brianna's Song.

Very pretty filly and very lovely name! Nothing wrong with naming them after your granddaughter!
We had to re-do our racing silks (somehow between the trainer and Churchill Downs ours got thrown out) so we did our new ones for our two granddaughters. Purple with pink hearts

They really look great actually. I told them I'd do princess crowns but I didn't see one and they assured me they could do it, nah hearts would do I said

Thanks for the kind words guys. UPDATE ; our other mare, beach barbicue, gave us a BIG, STRONG BRUISER of a colt by Holy Bull this morning. Saw him already & pics when I have a bit more time.

Here's our 8 hr. old colt by Holy Bull out of our Tabasco Cat mare Beach Barbicue. Big & strong he sure is !
