Pedigree Query

A friend of mine in Lexington who owns a very sweet mare, very dear to my heart, bred her to The White Fox.

Well, last Friday, he was in the barn "foal watching" as she was close to her due date, but it did not seem like she was going to do anything, so he decided to go eat, etc. for a little while.

When he came back, he said it looked like there was a ghostly little baby deer in the stall with the beloved mare! A pure white colt, by The White Fox! He had to do a double take!

Don't know how many of them are out there now, but how exciting this is!

I said that he had better get himself aquainted very quick with reflective fly sheets, horsey SPF, and any other sun protection for the bright white guy.

It must have been the week for it! A friend of mine's bay mare also foaled a white colt by The White Fox last week. He's already got a little sunburn!

Well, we foaled May 20th and our mare that was bred to The White Fox had a beautiful little chestnut colt with four white feet. Oh, how I wanted a pure white one but this colt is very pretty and The White Fox is a wonderful stallion with a great personality and fantastic blood so I'm happy with him. I'd love to see photos of the white ones!

Congratulations on those White Fox babies! Cant wait for pictures.
