At 11 pm lastnight, my first foal of 2006 put in an apperance.

Hes by Royal Applause out of Crown Of Spring. Following the tradition of naming her foals after cars, we have caled this little chap Bentley.

Mum and foal are doing well, hes very strong and shes doting on him.

Congratulations! he looks like a "bentley", very nice and sturdy already. Love that name for him.

They sure don't look like much when they are still in "wet rat mode"

, but it doesn't take long for them to be pretty darn adorable!
